Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim, please visit our Returns Portal using the link below: https://kingsoutdoorlighting.com/apps/redo/returns-portal/
Once logged in, please follow these steps:
- Fill out the return request form
- Select the “File a Warranty Claim” option
- Choose the product related to the issue'
- Upload a supporting photo/video documentation of the concern
- Submit the warranty claim request
After submission, a prepaid return label will be generated for you to ship the item back to us for inspection.
Important Information Before Submission
Photos and videos will be required during the warranty claim process. This allows our team to properly assess the issue before requesting the item to be returned.
Please note that not all issues are caused by product defects. Other installation-related factors may contribute to the problem, including but not limited to:
- Incorrect wiring
- Transformer incompatibility or failure
- Voltage issues
- Improper installation
- Water intrusion caused by installation conditions
- Third-party components or accessories
Providing clear photos and videos helps us troubleshoot efficiently and may help resolve the issue without requiring a return.
Inspection & Resolution Process
Once the item has been returned and delivered to our facility, our technicians will inspect it within approximately 72 business hours.
After inspection, we will:
- Repair the item when possible, or
- Provide a replacement if the product is determined to be non-repairable under warranty coverage
The repaired or replacement item will then be shipped back to you.
If there is no defect on the item, the shipping cost will be shouldered by the customer.
Optional Advance Replacement Process
Alternatively, please coordinate with us if you would prefer to purchase a replacement unit while waiting for the original item to be shipped back and inspected.
Once we receive the returned unit and confirm that:
- No tampering or unauthorized modifications were made
- Proper installation procedures were followed
- The product was found to be defective under normal use after inspection
We may issue a refund for the replacement unit purchase and treat the purchased item as the warranty replacement upon receiving the non-working units.
Please note:
- This process does not extend, renew, or reset the original warranty period
- Warranty coverage remains based on the original purchase date
- Approval is subject to final inspection and evaluation by our technical team
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not apply to products damaged by:
- Misuse or abuse
- Improper installation
- Negligence
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations
- Electrical surges or improper voltage
- Water damage caused by improper sealing or installation conditions
