Shipping & Delivery
The cut-off time for same-day shipping is 3:00 PM (PST), excluding weekends and major holidays. Please call to confirm stock and availability to ensure we can deliver any requested quantity of items. Possible delays on items that are custom-made or backorders.

All orders are shipped via the requested Shipping Carrier and Shipping Time/Method option chosen by the Customer at the time of checkout (via FedEx, UPS, or USPS).
Many of our products are made of heavy-duty materials and as a result, weigh a lot. Weight is the primary factor in estimating shipping charges and with larger orders, weight can total hundreds of pounds. To help offset some of this cost we offer our FedEx discount to you, but also give you the option of UPS and USPS so you can compare the prices and choose the one that works best for you!

Shipping Times

  • FedEx Ground: 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S., 3–7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii.
  • UPS Ground: 1–6 business days within the contiguous U.S., 3 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii.
  • USPS Priority Mail: Estimated 1-4 days based on origin, destination, and Post Office acceptance time.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & SHIPPING
We require a $500 USD order minimum (before shipping charges) on all International orders. Free Shipping is not qualified for international orders

The recipient of an international shipment is responsible for any import taxes, duties, and any additional fees levied by the destination country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Contact your local customs office for further information. When custom clearance procedures are required it can cause further delays in shipment. Due to high shipping costs/duties. International customers are responsible for shipping on warrantied replacements, returns, and/or exchanges.

How to Return an Item:
*Important -- packages without an RMA# or communication will be refused.*

Submit your return request through our Returns Portal.

After submitting a return request and providing the reason for the return, you will be given the option to schedule a pickup at your address at an additional cost or generate a return label that you may use to drop off the package via selected courier. You will be given options for returning the item(s). Refunds are generally processed within 1-7 business days of receiving any returned items (to give time to filing and approving of RMA, inventory, inspection, and coordinating with other vendors) and will be credited to the same payment method used in the original purchase. Warranty Exchanges of defective items: give us 2-4 business days to complete the inspection.

If there is a discrepancy with your order that is deemed to be caused by Kings Outdoor Lighting (e.g. wrong item, quantity or defective) within 30 days of your order being delivered, Kings Outdoor Lighting will pay for any shipping cost associated with order resolution. Shipping costs associated with the exchange or return of items accurately delivered by Kings Outdoor Lighting are the sole responsibility of the customer.

New Products:

The item must be in brand new, unused condition and returned in its original packaging with all components included. Returns must be made within 30 days of receipt—no exceptions. All return and refund requests will be verified against the original order in our system. The product and packaging must be completely unused and in resellable condition, without any signs of installation or handling, to ensure it can be offered to another customer without concern regarding its integrity.

Once we receive the item and verify its condition, we will issue a refund for the product cost only. Shipping fees, both to and from, are non-refundable. Return shipping may only be covered for defective items under the warranty period. If the item is received and found to be in working condition, return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. All non-defective returns must be shipped at the customer’s expense.

Returned items will be inspected upon arrival. We reserve the right to deny refunds or exchanges if the product shows signs of use, wear, damage, or improper handling. Items returned in used or open-box condition will not be accepted and will be shipped back to the customer at their cost.

For those in new condition, a 20% restocking fee will apply to returns received between 31 and 60 days from the delivery date. For returns between 61 and 90 days, a 30% restocking fee will be applied. We do not accept returns of unused products beyond 90 days under any circumstances.

Restocking Fee Policy from the following Vendors:

  • Brilliance LED: 25% restocking fee for all returned unused items unless the replacement product is more than twice its value
  • EMCOD: 25% restocking fee for all returned unused items

Used products: 

Once a product has been used or is past the 30-day return period, it can only be returned if it is defective and falls under warranty. If the order is past 30 days, the customer is responsible for any return shipping fees. For defective items, Kings Outdoor Lighting will pay for the shipping of the replacement item(s). Email customer service to get return approval, then send the product back with a COPY OF YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION in the box. Without an order confirmation in the package to accurately reference the order, there will be nothing our warehouse can do about the return or exchange. When we receive the item(s), we will test it and verify that it is defective. If it is determined the product is defective, we will send out a replacement within 48 hours of receiving the defective product back.

-Original shipping fees are not refundable.

Checkout+ Unlimited Returns & Package Protection Policy

We offer Redo Unlimited Returns + Package Protection at checkout to give our customers added peace of mind when placing an order.

What Is Unlimited Returns?

Customers who opt in to Redo Unlimited Returns at checkout are eligible for:

  • Free return shipping on eligible items
  • A streamlined return process through our returns portal
  • Coverage for returns beyond standard return shipping costs
  • Can only be requested to be removed and refunded if the package has not been shipped yet

This coverage applies only if the Redo option was selected and purchased during checkout.

What Is Package Protection?

Package Protection covers your order in case of:

  • Lost packages
  • Stolen packages
  • Items damaged during transit

If your package is marked delivered but cannot be located, arrives damaged, or is lost in transit, Redo helps ensure a replacement or refund can be processed quickly after claim review.

Important Coverage Conditions

Redo coverage does not override our standard product return conditions. The following still apply:

  • Items must be returned in new and unused condition
  • Products returned used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for refunds
  • All original parts and packaging must be included when applicable

Redo covers the return shipping cost, but it does not make ineligible items refundable.

If Checkout+ Was Not Selected

If Checkout+ Unlimited Returns + Package Protection was not added at checkout, then:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged package claims may be limited or unavailable
  • Our standard return policy will apply

How to File a Claim

If you purchased the coverage and need to file a claim for a return, lost package, or damaged delivery:

  1. Call our hotline or submit an email to KingsOutdoorLighting@gmail.com and provide the order number and supporting documents
  2. We will review and process a reshipment or refund for the product upon approval

⚠️ Open Box Returns & Warranty Policy:

Open-box items are sold as-is and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or warranty coverage. While these products may arrive without packaging or with minor cosmetic imperfections, they are fully tested to ensure functionality before shipping.

-All returns must include a copy of the order number included in the package so we can accurately match the order to the correct customer with no issues. If past 30 days, then a copy of your order confirmation will need to be included in the package.

-We will not be responsible for any lost or damaged merchandise that has been shipped to us.
