Our new 5mm Super Slim Dotless COB LED outdoor strip lights use the new FCOB technology to produce seamless linear lighting with no hot spots or "dead spots" and are completely edgeless. On traditional LED strips, LED diodes are spaced apart, creating hot spots that are visible when looking at the strip, but our Dotless LED strips give a consistent light throughout the entire length. 

This ultra-thin continuous LED strip light can be cut every 10mm allowing you to cut pieces to the exact length that you need based on your application. Our DC LED strip light consumes 1.52W per ft and shines 180 lumens per ft with 400 LEDs/m. It's available in board widths of 5 mm, allowing it to fit in most standard aluminum channels. Available in 5M (16.4 ft).

This low voltage, Dotless LED strip light is available in 3000K Warm White, and 6000K Cool White, and illuminates at 90 CRI. This strip light is a suitable choice for a variety of applications, including kitchen cabinets, closets, edges and stairs, balcony, party decoration, wedding, etc., and is outdoor Rated at IP65.

How to choose the right power supply?

1. 1. The COB strip is around 1.52W/ft, so for 5m (16.4FT) LED strip, it needs a 60W power supply. The power supply can be bigger (60W, 100W, 200W are all ok), but can't be smaller, if the power supply is too small, the LED strip will flash during working.
2. 2. Since there's voltage drop of the led strip, the real working power is much less than theoretical value. So it's ok that the power supply is a little smaller than the counted value.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

1. The COB LED strip CANNOT be connected to AC110V directly; a DC 12V/24V power supply.
2. The AC/DC transformer (power supply) and controller are NOT included.
3. The COB strip is dimmable but needs to add a suitable dimmer. Dimmer is NOT included.
4. The COB strip is jointed by 19.6"-length pieces, so there are some jointed points on the COB strip, it's normal.
5. The actual power of the COB strip will be affected by the voltage drop. For example, the real power of a 16FT strip is around 30W, not 10W/m= 50W (theoretical value). The calculation method of 50W is wrong; the voltage drop should actually be considered!
6. Please make sure the installing surface is clean + dry + smooth, or the COB strip cannot be pasted stably.
7. There will be a Voltage Drop (the head of the LED strip is brighter than the end) if the COB strip is too long. If you want to extend the COB strip to a longer length (like 32.8FT or more), you need to supply power to both ends of the LED strip.

Recommendation for Long Runs:

For 12V DC strip light installations longer than 10M, we suggest powering the strip from both ends using an appropriate wire. This minimizes voltage drop, which can lead to uneven brightness or sections failing to light up. Proper power distribution ensures consistent and optimal illumination.
